Thankyou all for replies, What surgery can be done on a torn muscle?
I will go out and try to get some fish oil right now.
What sort of recovery time can I expect roughly if I have torn the muscle, It has been 48 hours since I did it and I can walk slowly putting weight on that heel only but...
Has anyone any advice? I have just suffered a quite bad calf muscle strain.
I first did it about 18 months ago jumping into a swimming pool, Then again very slightly 10 days ago so I rested it.
I was jet skiing yesterday (flat water freestyle) and I felt a POP in my calf muscle , it now hurts...
I fitted a car gas ram on my pole and it equalises the force needed to move the pole up and down and 'Damps' the movement to some degree.
This makes the ski alot nicer to ride as you don't have to keep lifting the pole up against the weight of the pole and the stiffness of the pivot! it is only...
The engine is ported ,R&D head, Lightened stock flywheel, B pipe mod , carbs stock, reeds stock, water box stock, pump stock, solas 13/17 Concorde, ignition stock. The trim system is made here in Thailand.
The price for a complete hull will be 3300 USD plus shipping, We are making enquiries at the moment on shipping companies and charges.
We don't have any finished hulls in stock at present but are working on some.
We have decided not to offer the fuel cells as placing the weight of the fuel...
We have decided to remove the fuel cells and install a tank in the normal place, This has brought the centre of gravity forward a bit which makes the ski ride a bit more level at low speeds.
One thing , If you are running a epoxy fibreglass/ epoxy carbon fibre tank do not use Gasohol fuel as it...
When I mounted my battery, I taped the bottom of the battery then sprayed with PVA layed 7 layers of 200g mat on it then bonded the' tray ' into the hull along with hold down hooks for one OEM rubber strap.
It has survived about 80 back flip attemts etc over the last 3 months!
and it weighs 214g !
Hi Max, How is it going? we have not seen you lately! I have problems with my total loss ignition I fitted on my ski at the moment. See you soon best regards Nick
That was including the motor! I have added some layup to the inside of the centre of the hood, Removed the bond flange at the front strengthened inside at the front to compensate for not having a bond flange, Added layup in the pole bracket area together with a bulkhead in the front level with...
I have not weighed the ski lately and I have changed the pole bracket to a stainless one, Pole pad ,added some layup to the pole area inside, also turf.
It will be interesting to see what its all up ready to ride weight is now.
It was 92.5 kgs before.
I will weigh it tomorrow!
Good day at the lake...... Very positive feedback from a member of the Japanese freestyle team who is over here building a freestyle ski for the Flamingo team.
He said the hull handles very well but needs more steering movement and up tilt on the nozzle. Also the footholds could be 40 or 50mm...
I have found out that EMS charge about 300 usd (5 day delivery) for a box up to 20kgs of the size needed , This would be good if the hull is not joined and can be packed in two boxes totalling 600 usd , They also said that there is sometimes a small additional charge in the US.
I will find out...
Thank you for your interest in the hull, This hull is a prototype hull for flat water freestyle. The hull is still in the testing stages at the moment.
I will be offering hulls for sale when I have finished the R&D and finalised the construction and layup weight that is strong enough without...
