If you're riding, overnighter for sure. Last year, me and Jack left the shop at 6am, got there at about 11am, rode ALL DAY long, and left at about 8pm. Needless to say we were switching drivers every 15 minutes..

BOB Gen1 started as a 300sx, but the bottom decks between a Gen1 and a 300 are completely different. Absolutely nothing similar between the 2. XFS was modified from the FS1, which was based off the Super Jet. So if you say that a G3 is just a modded 300, then a XFS is just a modded Super Jet.

You just gotta spend more time on one. A BOB is a totally different ride, it wasn't modded from anything, so it doesnt ride like anything else. Like I tell everyone, you wont like your BOB at first, but once you start spending more time on it, you'll learn how to ride it, and you'll grow to love...

We've been building these boxes for a while now for our RTR units. We've been buying the blue boxes from a supplier and installing our own inserts on the inside (non JSS units). They're definitely nice boxes though, if its all assembled right, you will see minimal moisture in the boxes, and...

A lot of guys like the extended plate for cruising around too. You can also add washers between the ride plate and the hull on the back bolts to angle down the plate to help bring the nose of the ski down too.

Close - the Super Jet that took 2nd at WF's was the pretty Blowsion ski thats now rotting behind our shop. The hull in the video was a Wamiltons Super Jet hull, which was new in 2007.

Since you're just rec riding, I'd plug off the scupper and throw in a bilge pump. At least if you run out of gas or your ski breaks down, you'll have 1 less thing to worry about.

A WDK hull wont do flips and rolls like a short hull such as a BOB will. But a super jet can be rolled as it is, just takes quite a bit of practice and skill. 360's need a shorter hull to make the rotation easier and faster, and a backflip just flat out needs skill & $$$.
