Anyone using a flatbed trailer? (Salt)

Aluminum trailers are also probably square tubing and have rubber caps on the end of the tubes while galvanized trailers are often I-beam design. The Aluminum trailer frames probably hold a lot air themselves.

Anyone using a flatbed trailer? (Salt)

Exactly. Can you post a picture of what you come up with? I agree, but I haven't seen any stand up skis on flat beds. I wasn't sure if there was some reason I might be missing other than cost.

Anyone using a flatbed trailer? (Salt)

I have a galvanized jet ski trailer. Standard dual setup for 3 stand ups (2 and a B1). I was thinking about going to a flatbed utility style. But it would see salt. I can't see a reason why it would be an issue to use a flat bed aluminum trailer? Might need to replace the axle with a galvanized...

    650/X-2 X2 restore.

So is the problem you have the wrong cable or the right cable installed wrong?

    650/X-2 X2 restore.

Is it possible you have the wrong cable or it is not symmetric? It's possible they put in a steering cable instead of a trim cable?

    Bondrail underside tips and tricks???

I don't know if I should give this a thumbs up for being good info or a thumbs down for telling me about something I can't have!

    Bondrail underside tips and tricks???

I do 3D print tools for stuff like that. Not sure if you have ever considered it, but it's nicer than wood. You can easily print a custom radius or a complexed curve. I used Fusion 360 and a XYZ Davinci Pro 1.0 printer.

    Bondrail underside tips and tricks???

I use carbide burrs from Fastenal on a 1/4" die grinder to get the meat. I have a 3/8" straight bur and one that kind of looks like a pine cone. They are like $50 each, but they never get dull or change shape if using strictly on fiberglass. I have an extended straight and a right angle grinder...

    Bondrail underside tips and tricks???

Anyone have any tips or tricks they are using to work the underside of the bond rail? My B1 had bond rail damage which I have repaired. Doing the finishing work. It's pretty difficult to get in there with putty knives or for sanding. Also curious if anyone has any tips for when they spray primer...

Here it is, the wax header pipe

Not to derail, but those molds on Ebay are cool to see. I have always wondered how a jacketed pipe is casted. I'll be honest, I still don't get it. Is something in the jacket/cooling space that is removed after the casting? I've always been curious.

    Superjet foam Problem

Thanks for the reply. I wonder if it could be dried more efficiently by using the factory pour holes to push some air and putting the entire boat on somewhere with a dehumidifier. Or perhaps some use of Damp Rid.

    Superjet foam Problem

One thing I have not once seen in a waterlogged foam thread is the before and after weights. The composite added to repair what was done by cutting out the tray is not weightless. Has anyone done a before an after comparison of weights? I can't imagine there are significant benefits to replacing...

    JBL Xtreme 2 Bluetooth Speaker

The Xtreme 3 is $350. The Xtreme 2 is $190. It is bigger than what a lot of people use for portables but this thing has exceptional sound quality. They actually reduce the wattage on battery for the advertised battery life, so it sounds even better when plugged in, because it uses the full...

    Teach me to weld?

I rummaged through the remnants and Alro and got my 3lbs of trash which they didn’t bother to charge me $1 for… I can’t break these off with a reasonable amount of force with a pair of players. The angle I clamped on and welded 1 full side at a time. The plate I used a magnet and tacked 4...

    Teach me to weld?

Because of the size and power requirements, I’ll probably come off the cash for a newer inverter technology machine. I’m not set on the Miller I linked, but it weighs 56 lbs and anything it can’t do I couldn’t do anyway because of the power requirements. I’m open to other machine options but a...

    Teach me to weld?

Crumpton suggested the Millermatic 220 AC/DC. https://store.cyberweld.com/miller-multimatic-220-welder-907757.html It should weld anything I want to weld running off my dryer outlet. It's small enough and light enough that I can store it in my trailer with my mill and move it out to my carport...

    Teach me to weld?

The set the helmet I got to the highest setting. I wanted auto darkening because it would reduce the things o have to think about while learning. I set it at the highest setting, 13… My dad dropped an old bed frame for me today. I think the rod they gave me for free with the helmet is 1/8” and...
