Yeah i was 12 and they were my first skis.. I got them from a lady I mowed for. No idea how I didn't die or start anything on fire. Looking back... i wish i still had that kind of luck
how does nikasil hold up against water intrusion? I've always wondered why more cylinders weren't made without sleeves and assumed that was why.. as in its a hell of a lot cheaper to bore a sleeve then get stuff replated.

I've ridden that ski before, flatwater rolled it and flipped it off boat wakes. If it were me I would have offered 6k as the previous owner said.

I took the carbs apart from a blown GP760 I bought awhile back and found this...
The jet was completely blocked with a chunk of brass that must have been broken off (probably why the 760 was seized). I cleaned it out the best I could and it looks like whoever worked on it last may have tried...
I am wondering the same thing, I picked up a 760 on the cheap and was going to use it as my spare.
This is what factory pipe says for the 760 pipe.. no idea if thats accurate or not.
Note: Make sure you check the stock jets
Main jet :130 on front (Mag) carb, 132.5 on rear (PTO)carb

couldn't figure out where the squealing was coming from when I tried to start my motor...motor was fine, replaced bendix, replaced starter.. then I put the cold fusion flywheel lock on to torque the flywheel down and with the wrench set at 20lbs the ring started spinning...
