you can just use the stock kawi X2 box and drill it out, flows just fine imo...have ran this same conversion with the box drilled with a ported yami motor with all the bolt ons.

Stock 760 exhaust does not fit without modifying the hull.

Did you re-jet the carb? Set pop off pressure? If not you need to start there...factory pipe website has setup instructions.
