Yea those look the same as the 20$ ones. Slick black. I put them on steel rims with 1/2" axle holes. The rims rust and I gotta keep the axles oiled or the wheels freeze up. Lol
They don't run tubes or need tubes unless they leak. Walmart had some dirt cheap tires some years back. Like $19 each online with local pickup. That didn't last long. The best tires and rims are wheeleze but the big ones are $130+each
Worx made a tunnel stuffer top loader combo setup out of aluminum that just slips in there and gets sealed with silicone. I've had a few and have one in carbon techs old race suerjet. Somebody maybe R&D also just made the tunnel stuffer out of glass. I think there is one of those in an old sj I...
I never buy the ada kit and I just buy the o ring rope for the waterjacket. Put it in there and just cut the ends to meet. One dab of 1211 to seal that spot or superglue can be used
Cletes for sure. May be overkill at times but sure footing is the most basic requirement for everything. Gloves to hang on for dear life is Second. These are getting worn but are many seasons old
They slide on pretty easy but getting the bead to seal and air up can be a nightmare. I made the mistake of using too much starting fluid on one when I couldn't get it to seal. It exploded and shot straight up 100 feet and dropped out of the sky like a stone. Broke the rim. My neighbor down the...
I bought tubes and slid them in my cracked to hell tires years ago. When the tire cracked worse and the tube started poking out, I stuffed a piece of carpet in there to protect the tube it worked
I've seen driveshaft holder bearings that looked fine but were actually corroded so the rubber was separate from the plate. Water pours right in. Open the hood and put it in the water. You'll see where it's coming in
The crazy Russian had a very similar hull that exact color many years ago. I think it was an xjet hull? I seriously doubt your hull ever had that flat nose. Nobody would have put the bond rail back around the front. Too much fab work. You see what all these skis with rocketed front ends look...
Never silicone the 3 sections together. It's unnecessary and is a bitch to get apart . The reason the krash don't have a seal is because the shoe bolts directly to the wear ring.
Local racing guru pete debaghian told me ages ago that they can hang open a hair. Opening and closing so fast with case pressure and suction it's unnoticeable.
