As far as Thrust tanks, where should I order one from? I am sick of dealing with sellers/websites that say an item is in stock only to realize its on back-order for months.

Yamaha made the gamble on going all 4-stroke in their sleds in the early 00's and it didn't pay off. They put high tech motors in low tech chassis. They make high quality products for sure but in my eyes, and sales-wise, 2 strokes still rule in sleds. Yamaha didn't adapt and bring back 2 strokes...

Alright everyone, need opinions on this. Are you running fuel shut off switches in your carb feed lines? I am thinking its probably not good to always have pressure from the tank to the carbs.

I figured out what sizes I am going to use for my water lines. I am going to run 1/2" elbows in the pump and 1/2" hose to the thru-hull tubes. I confirmed with Joe that he put 1/2" lines in the hull. From the bulkhead forward will be 1/2" hose to a 1/2" strainer(2) then up to 1/2" elbows in the...

Just to update this thread, I am STILL waiting on my refund from Fast Elements. Steve has been in contact with me but the refund was denied by his bank last week and the refund still has not cleared. Obviously not happy about $1900 being tied up this way so let this be a warning for all.

I have had terrible luck with fast elements.

Pipe came in yesterday. Thanks to @JetManiac for the quick shipping! I am still trying to figure out this 3/8 vs 1/2 water routing stuff. The pipe has both size fittings in the kit. Bottom of the manifold has 1/2 while the top and the pipe fittings are 3/8. Why?

I have the KP pole and while it has not been used yet, the fit and finish on everything was great. I have their bracket, pole bolt, and OVP bearing steering and its all top notch, if a bit heavy. Shipping to Michigan was 7 days also, which was very fast in my eyes.
