The $64 USC combo is the only way to go. It adheres to metton, glass & smc wonderfully. Wets out great

I've noticed that also. went from a pair of worn out ruffians to a pair of new roughs, and my hands will feel sore or 'pumped'. gonna change back... the smaller diameter is better imo.

You'd wear right through that stuff as well. I have TWO layers of 14oz S glass cloth on the bottom of mine and I'm starting to wear through the first layer in the first year.

I have the exhaust exit right behind the tubbie, close to the firewall, behind the carbs & I have never noticed this. But mine is up as high as I could go, kinda under the bondrail. Having it midway down the hull helps keep the noise down also vs the front side exhaust exit. Little spray of...

PM keefer on here. I had him do one for me last year. Sealed it up nice after removing the rev limiter. $50 I think.

I would not even want to pay shipping to have that crank 'inspected'. Its got metal in it for sure, and possibly pressed into the bearings.

I got one of the new encased OCD Solutions switch & it looks great! Super idea to solder the wires on and encase the whole back of it in rubber or whatever it is. I think this one will hold up for years and years and years in saltwater.
