Great idea! maybe make a list to keep with the scale so peeps can write down their ski weight and username & maybe info on the ski. my heavily reinforced 20 year old SN weighed about 10lbs more than boyers fancy pants hull. :nana:

So now I am finally getting close to done with my fixed steering hood and I just realized that the UMI Steering neck is gonna hit the sparkplug boots under the hood :ugh: Its a WaveRaider UMI steering. the neck is 8 3/8 long INSIDE the hood. How long is the blaster UMI neck inside the hood...

I'm using a stainless fishing rod holder as my side exhaust exit; cut it shorter and knock out the plastic insert tube in it. I have it exiting the hull just behind the tubbie, not nearly as loud as front exit only. Exhaust tube runs under the carb manifold...

Bump, This happened again this past weekend, same rider & same motor & pump setup. This time was in a brand new Matrix SJ hull, last time was in the 97SJ. Last time the impeller came loose, it was put back on, realigned, and tourqued. With red locktite. WTF?

Thread jack: ALL other things being equal (reeds, carbs, flame arresters), is there much performance gain in aftermarket intake manifolds?
