The spark plug that looks white/lean. Which cylinder was it from, do you recall? You might want to pull exhaust and flywheel cover and pressure test the engine
02' era race pipes like that you had to be holding it wide open to get the added power. Elsewhere in the throttle range they weren't much to brag about.
Bpipes had the edge in throttle response, if you're just blipping around, that's the pipe you want
Removed all the old paint. Surface is fairly straight which is gonna help the process. Now to deal with about a thousand pinholes lol. And a few small structural repairs
The stock aluminum prop is the biggest p.o.s. garbage thing ever btw. Anything is better than that, a stock 08+ stainless prop for example is a popular choice as a low cost upgrade for 90-07. I have had good results with hooker 9/15 and solas Concord 14/18, but I am running a bit different set...
Fx-1 or a second round nose that's built differently than your '13. So many possibilities with the round nose hull, most versatile ski of all time! Can find hulls cheap and build one as budget allows
Got this super light race hood I'm restoring for a client, it's crazy how photos can hide the true condition of parts! This thing is in pretty rough shape.
Some of y'all who are wearing out gloves may want to check this size chart out. You may be wearing the wrong size... this is a mechanix gloves chart, some brands may run smaller or larger... I had to find XXL gloves because that's all that would fit my long-az fingers lol. If I get L or XL I...
I do like the idea of printing molds for composite parts. If someone wants to do this for a superjet chin pad with a small gauge cluster that holds a tiny tach, possibly a small gps speedometer, pm me. Sorry to de-rail
This is a good recommendation if you had to have it custom made. Sculpting with foam is easy. If necessary, you can glue foam blocks together with loctite power grab so you have have enough material to work with. Then shape with a hot wire and sandpaper. Then lay a couple layers of epoxy...
If I were going zeel on a 2002 era dry pipe ski I would without question spend 800+ and have php do all the hard work so you have peace of mind knowing the Igniton is gonna work.
You can't easily remove the e-box with a dry pipe like you can with a b pipe or lay down. It is not something...
Overtons water ski gloves. Had them for 3 years. One tip to keep in mind, get your gloves sized as exactly to your hands as possible. If they are too tight your gloves won't last.

If you're willing to deal with more crap under the hood, ecwi works. It's more hassle and stuff to go wrong, but if you can handle that, you will get more low end hit from that pipe.
Couple things to keep in mind. The pilot jet continues delivery of fuel throughout the throttle opening range. A lot of riders run reverse jetting.
And The low speed adjuster is just for dialing in idle mixture.
Yeah they also bring in air of course, it just helps to give the water a path away from the engine and e-box and into the bilge area. I used to run without the tubes and some of those frogskin intake screens there, just ended up letting more water get on the engine. A lot of people cut em off...
