fuse is good.
i guess i dont understand the flow of currency through these boxes but i would imagine the + comes into the box thru the fuse then continues. by jumping the start stop it cranks.
im about to torch it.
push start nothing happened. i used a jumper from the battery to the brown wire on the ebox side. it cranks fine. so i figured i had a bad start/stop switch. i yanked the one off the blaster and tried it. nothing. no spark no crank no click. checked out the wiring...
not really looking for gains. the single 61 carb has issues and rust. i just replaced my carbs on the 62 setup and was hoping to use then rather than have them as a paper weight.
Can i put my stock 62T (04' RN) carbs on my 61X (93' Blaster) setup?
is it possible would there be any modifying required?
any possible performance losses in doing so?
Also can i put my ADA girldled head on the 61X set up that i previously had on a 62T?
same questions as above.
thanks, jd
Alright worked on it again today. Actually 4 of us did. Thanks Ed, Dave, and Brian.
Enlonged the pump holes and shaved the ears on the rear and the thing fits perfect with no shims needed. the pump is ready to go. though messing with the midshaft im easily able to pull the shaft right out...
well thats kind of good. cause i dont know how my dad would feel about you making a bunch of those in his shop. the stuff really stinks up the house when you cut it. haha. just saying.
he is only getting one. another guy we ride with is getting the same ski and i think Tem is going to do everything at the same time. Also shipped together.
yeah but its a double edged sword atleast for me. with the x i can figure out good ways to fix my problems. without the x id probably be still riding my sj and been totally happy with it not knowing anything different.
thats what i figured. ill go that route. i guess its a easy fix if it doesnt move around after its bolted up. if its off 1/4'' at the midshaft, i guess i only need to take less than 1/16'' off the front and rear ears.
