from the e-box there's 2 pairs of wires: reb/brown and black/white. unplug the black/white pair and try to start the ski. If it starts or has spark, the "stop" portion of your switch needs to be rebuilt.
the 2 on the front are for an exhaust bracket.
I'd go ahead and fully assemble it and do your leak down.
then put it in the ski and start your final assembly...if the bracket ends up being in the way - take it off and reinstall as necessary.
I've been putting off doing the brakes on my truck - last night the brake light finally came on and the pedal is traveling almost all the way to the floor before stopping the truck.
so I think I need to do them today, rather than wait.
If you want an airbrush paint job, I can recommend a reasonable priced guy...but his shop is in Montgomery...so I'm not sure if he still has a shop after all the fires up there.
damm skippy.
you come over here next time it's 100+ and see how hot it is out there...I bet it's 125 or more in my garage on those days.
but we're about to start the insulation and AC project out there....
go look up the high temps for the last 6 weeks, then remember my garage faces directly west and gets no shade.
my attic with radiant barrier is probably cooler to work in...but it's cooling off a bit, so I'll be spending more time out there.
I'm on the same schedule as you are for putting AS back together.
OK - no really, it's been so f-ing hot that I don't go out to the garage unless I have to...that's gonna change starting this weekend.
I don't think you're kidding.
I thought about a way to adapt a spearfishing float for use as a recovery buoy: http://www.speargun.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=46&Itemid=11
put some sort of a pressure sensitive trigger on it, or a water sensing trigger inside the engine bay...
