Now I'm confused!
But seriously... If he WAS indeed able to use the SN housing in a Blaster, then the SN hull had to have been a 94 or 95 hull. 94/95 SN hulls use the newer style HOUSING, same as 96-up.
And yes, the bolt pattern is what makes the difference. 90-93 smaller housing/bolt...
Here's a good one... I use old mikuni SBN brass seats (from needle and seat sets). I have a bunch of old ones from carb tuning and rebuilds over the years. Just drill to size needed, remove o-ring and they push nicely into a 3/8" line. I recommend facing the empty end (where the needle was)...
Did the same exact thing several years ago in Texas... nose stab, feet slipped out, Broke my wrist. Impact was brutal. Get well!

6m6 or 61x stator MUST USE 61x or 6M6 Flywheel; they are interchangeable, almost identical.
62T stator MUST USE 62t Flywheel.
CDI's are interchangeable among all of the above. But you might need a jumper on one wire (like the one provided with an Enhancer). The 62T would be most desirable...
There are at least 3 different sit-down related happenings going on here. Yes the lifeguards were riding stupidly. Yes a Spark was ridden in the ride zone, and my understanding is that Nick was not happy about it/did not approve it. And finally, to the OP - thank you for following the rules...
This was argued for many years... in the early days when I first started going it seemed like we were further down. Then there were a couple different freeride competitions that took place on various years which dictated where exactly we should or should not be. (Not to mention the WORCS...

FOR EXACT DATES AND TIMES EACH YEAR, REFER TO NEW THREADS POSTED IN THE PISMO FREERIDE FORUM. THIS IS GENERAL INFO THAT APPLIES TO...
The guys above are right IMO, a SJ is still the ski you should be looking for.... BUT
A lot has changed in the last few years. nothing new from Kawi or Yam... but a S**T TON of AFTERMARKET HULLS. (insert sarcasm) Everybody thinks they need one now. The backflip is the almighty...
Wow, crazy to hear what you've been through! I met you years ago at one of the LSFR freerides. Can't believe what all happened to you since then. Welcome back and look up some of the guys in the LSFR thread, I'm sure they will remember you and welcome you to ride with them too.
I saw your post on FB, just wait for Nick's response or PM (start a conversation with) him here. But I suspect the answer is NO.
It is based on the size/weight of the hull and the danger associated with mixing small light skis with a 600lb 3D (an argument has already been raging regarding...
I had this moved to the Daytona freeride forum.
That being said, it is Nick's rules (yamaslut). It's his event and his insurance for the event that dictates the rules.
So it's not "run what you brung" or "screw anybody that gives you a hard time" - great advice guys...
