Backi Chan w/Dasa 1000 + the works completely submerged and rescued

You're the one that mentioned stock SJ bow eyes are weak and use of the pole bracket is better. All I'm saying is that's not the case, and telling anyone that runs stock setup is to do so is not good advice. Your Chan may be the exception but not the rule.\ Do you ride for a living or for the...

Backi Chan w/Dasa 1000 + the works completely submerged and rescued

You aren't towing correctly if you are ripping out a bow eye or the lip was already compromised from a previous darting. There's no need to use the pole bracket. I wouldn't use this unless last resort and would definitely tell others not to, especially with a stock bracket. On another note I'm...

Super Jet Am I Boned? How did this happen.

Wide zip ties work good when you're dealing with tight spots and the likes of triples. Drop the cyl on and they get pushed down then just cut them off.

Rehoboth Beach, DE - Any places to ride?

Unless you want to travel 45 mins south to OCMD to ride waves I wouldn't bother with a ski. Just booze it up and hit Dewey at least once if you can.

Why have a builder build it?

My attitude follows this... the "happiest customers" around here are the ones getting the free poop to drum them up more business or hoping to solve an issue before selling off loses. ;) Being in this sport (PWC) for a long time you quickly find that you need to be self-sufficient if you want...

    Wave blaster Chopped Seat

easiest approach is to pull the back apart and shave down the styrofoam hump under the vinyl and padding, then for length chop the padding, styro, & plastic pan right after the smc seat base or so and re-staple the vinyl. this will get you what most refer to as a shaved seat. anymore you will...

Freestyle Engine blew-10 hours into it- who is @ fault?

I call BS on that... if you weren't making a profit why they hell are you dipping into your pocket? Fair would have been giving Bob Remi's contact info and staying out of it and not trying to make quick buck. After all Bob is supposed to be a "friend". Even if Remi would have only given you...

Is our sport starting to cost an arm and a leg ????

It seems the sport is more about keeping up with the Joneses.. I'd bet a lot are going into debt to have the nice ski's that took the older heads time to acquire as the progressed their riding over years or the folks that can because they can. I know that doesn't fit everybody (and F if I really...

Other ODI Locking grips literally melting away.

Wear gloves. I found the ODI's brand new were slick as hell with my bare hands to the point it was dangerous. Started wearing gloves and all problems solved... no more wrist fatigue, finger cramps, and the 'kung fu' grip means you won't lose the ski.

    Other Craigslist texting scammers???

I guess it's just me but I can't fathom why people use their phone as the primary means of contact when listing in CL... Too many nutjobs out there and the risk of getting constant texts/signed up for who knows what, late night calls, etc. ain't worth the headache. It's easier to just use the...

    Mouse pointer hover preview?

hmm.. within a forum (say General) all I get is the url shown in the bottom left, no thread preview. I'm using FF if that makes a difference but preview works on all the other forums I go to just not this one since the conversion. Edit: Just checked with IE and it works, just not FF... wtf.

    Mouse pointer hover preview?

Is there a setting on the new software to put this feature back in place? This is where if you drag your mouse pointer over the thread title but don't click it gives a quick preview (portion of the first two sentences, etc.) of the OP's post. The old sw did this and really was a time saver as...

anyone have any info on powered beach carts

Weld up a bracket/mount (think the letter "J") to the swing arm and put a ball in it. Better solution would be to weld bosses to the arm and have it be removable. I doubt a bike will pull good on soft sand, but anything else it should be suffice.
