X2, mine isn't perfectly straight either. It is very easy to make that tool hang up!

Do you know any specific differences between the etx besides the increased a/h per pound? A little Google searching and all I can find is that they don't have solid terminals
A 62t or 61x coil will work but you'll need to isolate the ground on it. I just made an adapter so I wouldn't have to cut the wire. It's easy. It's within these 45 pages too, lol
^^^ agreed. I've seen many, and purchased a longblock as clean as they come for 600ish shipped. @Kyle Chandler has a clean shortblock for 300 right now.

You are getting close but definitely need to slow down! I learned to flip with a 701 as well.
I ride on a well populated and policed lake so I never hit less than 100 feet back , and I've had absolutely no issue flipping off the wake further behind the boat. I go for where there's a deep...
Machine shops are closed so I took matters into my own hands.. First pic is after a minute of sanding after I painted it. Took 10 minutes of active sanding on 150 grit to finally get that paint off!
Twas a bit warped!
Last year I used hondabond because it was cheap, and I wiped it off the cases and bought a tube of 1211. I find it way easier to work with especially on a motor where the cases are ported thin leaving minimal sealing space for the base gasket. You don't want it to run off (I found hondabond easy...
Straight 2.5 inch tubing works just fine and is cheap. Just make sure to add a support underneath it towards the engine side to act like a bulkhead does on a superjet for support.
Laydown pipe isn't a bad idea either. Just raise the waferbox up and add a exhaust flap to avoid water injestion...
You'll be happy with your setup in your rip for sure. I ran a ported 61x top end/unported bottom with a single 44 and a 144mm pump for a couple years with both a b pipe and a laydown. Plenty playful and flatwater flippable.
Do you have stock in MSD or something? I've never met anyone that advises against one of the best bangs for your buck you can do as much as you do. You don't even run an enhancer and keep praising them! All the claims of them can be backed up by dozens of riders, multiple engine builders, and...
You shouldn't have any issues with 35cc domes and premium on your setup. Has the motor ever been ported? That sounds a little low for your elevation? I'm at 900 feet and my compression is always within 10 PSI of the standard spec. Your gauge might just be reading low or your top end is clapped out.
There'd be a little gain, but peanuts compared to what 300$ could get you elsewhere. Not to mention the hit or miss quality with enhancers.
Are you set on only one modification?
If not..
A CDI with a modded rev limiter ~100$ or less, boring your nozzle ~80 or less, lightening your stock flywheel...
Nozzle boring can add increased bottom end at the expense of some top end. Great mod if you're chasing more bottom end.
Enhancer has an adjustable Rev limiter and a different timing curve that advances the timing in the low/mid rpm range to give a little more oomph. Your pipe revs higher than...
It is still relatively easy and is a much better bang for your buck and a mod that will work excellent on whatever engine you choose in the future.
Plus if you swap the whole 760 system, you get an upgraded coil(significantly better wires) as well.
