+1 on leak test. Has the ski ever ran well? Also when it cuts out, do you mean it dies? Sounds like it's starving for fuel or you have water intrusion issues.
Do research about running a triple in a superjet, especially a squarenose. Looks like you'll be headed for disaster if you don't remove the existing exhaust tube and replace it with something much bigger in diameter. I was reading a thread before where a guy spent many hours fitting one into...
Do both pissers stop flowing water, or just the one coming off the FCV/overboard tee? I've seen that fitting on the headpipe be clogged with the perfect sized rock before right in the brass part, obviously made the pipe extremely hot, check there. Maybe try running it on the hose first at home too
I've really been enjoying crossfit also. It's easy to not be a stereotypical crossfitter and get hurt all the time, it is pretty obvious when your form is breaking down or when it's simply too heavy. It isn't life or death, go lighter if necessary. I've been doing it for months and have...
Just curious how often people service/replace bearings in their dual ski trailers. After the 4th I *may* haul my skis about 5 hours one way to a family members cabin but I am pretty skeptical as I have never trailered them over 1.5 hours. I often feel the hubs just to make sure they aren't...
http://www.x-h2o.com/index.php?threads/why-dont-i-ever-see-dynos.166659/ Lots of friendly discussion about your dyno concerns happening on this thread :)
And just to input, putting a b pipe on a stock motor makes your ski feel like a rocket ship if you aren't used to any power.
Ride the ski more and you'll figure out how to handle a standup. Between the X and facebook, it seems like this question gets asked once every 15 minutes, you're just a noob. Try leaning different directions, you don't HAVE to be in surf stance for a superjet to be stable. A lot of the time...
From the list of what you haven't done, just do a bilge pump. Position it underneath the midshaft, they make a bracket for this. If you want to do footholds I'm guessing you have the ski to jump wakes instead of racing buoys so I highly recommend fabbing a bracket or purchasing a bracket to use...
Prowatercraft only makes one plate. Works very well for what you want, it keeps the rear locked. Scoop grate makes the biggest difference when you want more or less grip, however.
Such BS, with so many other environmental issues in the world, the last thing the government needs to worry about is motorized recreation. Such a small drop in the bucket, it just pisses the people off who enjoy it.
Ski looks awesome. LG1 does such nice graphics, no doubt I would buy from them instead of IPD next time. Wasn’t super impressed with them, but the price was better I guess.
