    2 skis having problems....please help?

carb rebuild kits are cheap too. but you could probably get away wih a good cleaning. dont just clean the jets though. completely disassemble them (or it if its a single carb). i had a waveraider that was the same way gave it a good cleaning and it was fine.

    2 skis having problems....please help?

were the ski's running perfect before you winterized? how long did they sit? the 550 sounds like the carb could need taken apart and cleaned up.

PING PONG BALLS / defoam / tray widening / #zero SJ sponsons plus more

im pretty sure they wont melt, there is a lot of water flowin through the exhaust and i dont think it gets hot enough. i used plastic ping pong balls and i dont think they are as fagile as celuloid balls. celuloid balls will actually absorb moisture over time and swell.

    mag pump on 701?

x2 steve uk had a 148 mag on a 701 with a bpipe at one time. you could feel the difference. but everyone told him that it was too much pump (which probably was the case). but the point is a mag will make noticable changes to your ski with a limited set up.

    hooker experiences

i talked to dave at impros and we had discussed putting an 11-17 hooker in my ski. right now it is a 771cc 185psi, aluminium flywheel, dual 46 carbs, b-pipe, and a 144 mag pump. my current pitch is a 14-19 and it hits very hard on the bottom. dave said i can get quite a bit more bottom and i was...

thats why i said for the money he wants to spend now bet a 144mm mag and a 771 top end. with all the new 865ss motors i bet you could find a 61x big bore cylinder for a good price.

    mag pump on 701?

well then i say buy a mag and a tbm flywheel. and for the money you have you could probably get a set of 61x big bore ported cylinders. and have a ski that will hit very hard till you get the big bucks for a 1000cc
