i spent some time on the phone with a tech from wiseco a while back cuz i had a situation like this. he recomended a clean up hone and said the extra clearance would be ok and recomended due to the greater heat being generated from the higher compresion since forged pistons grow more. i also...
im pretty sure #zero's tubbies will fit a square. they are form formed to the hull and fit perfect. the ride is amazing. turns excellent does not wobble at all at high speeds. they seem to make the ski more bouyant too. look up his thread and take a look. you can also see them mounted on my ski...
its a 144mm 12 vein mag pump with a pro-tec trim setup that was flipped (nozzle size is whatever protec make them, ive never measured it). its a worx intake grate. the impeller is not set back. im not 100% sure of the motor setup or the timing and all that. it is ported but im not sure who did...
i am runnin a ported 771 motor with a b-pipe plus all the other standard supporting mods. i have a mag pump with a 14/19 impeller. my ski pulls very hard but i was wondering if i could do better with a different pitch. if any one has any real experienced input it would be appreciated.
i have all ways used uscomposites and never had an issue. just make sure your surfaces are clean inside the hull. any oil or nasty funk will prevent a good hold.
i use one piece for the nose. cut a strait strip and stick it down closest to the hull edge all the way around. it will be glued to the top and be bent up strait up. then heat the entire strip and wrap it down over the edge. its hard to explain but if you saw someone do it it makes perfect sense.
primer is easy to pump, that thing really is very efficient. i was kinda wonderin how good it would work being that small but itflows quite a bit.
i took the ski out today for its maiden voyage, so here's the scoop.
1- #zero sponsons are amazing makes the whole ski ride higher in the...
started my turf tonight and figured i would get pics of the last trick thing i did. i installed the jet ski solutions bulb style primer on my dash. i put 1 inch padding over it and cut out a hole and turfed over it. you can press the bulb through the turf it works great. in the first pic madmatt...
i am 6'2" and have a lowered bracket -5 pole and -2.5 steering. it works great for me. i did the -2 and just kept going shorter till i got to my current settup. it will take time to get used to it.
feel free to call any time frank. big glass projects suck and take patience (really suck when everyone wants progress reports but nobody wants to do any sanding). if there is a weekend that nothin is goin on and we have crappy weather maybe i can grab matt and take a ride out your way and we...
and this is why you are the man. every time you explain things i end up scratching my head and saying WTF does that mean and how the heck did you learn all this. im a very mechanically inclined person and i understand alot about motors but just when i think i get it you post up more info that...
ive never had an issue with the cut turf. ive used the diamond and i have also seen plenty of nice turf jobs with the waffle. but i also undestand what yor sayin about tryin to stretch it around bends with heat, it takes a lot of care and patience.
