    try to find a fine pitch for the threads. it looks like mcmaster only has course pitch.

    the size is probably going to be 16mm. i used x-metal pole bolts but had to put the nuts on the inside with the flat base on the outside. as far as stainless goes use a 316 or the 304. either will be fine for your aplication.

    you wont need much. buy a yard. use some west systems 404 filler to make a paste. glue them domn with the paste and lay some cloth around all the edges. i particularly like using the 2x2 twill glass from uscomposites.com

    the start of the layup in the center of the tray was kinda tricky. i cut a sheet of glass roughly the width of the tray and only epoxied it to the dash area. i also did the same in the heel area from the underside. after it set i pulled the sheet tight to the pump area and duct taped it to hold...
