thats where it goes. but it sucks, if you want both to come off they never do, if you only want one then both come off and you all ways get covered in black gunk. i have become a big fan of simplifying my ski as much as possible. and this is just one of those things to do.

mine was like this and was fine with the dry pipe but when i got the b-pipe i kept getting leaks. dont know why but it was all ways a pain in my a$$ with constantly removing that stupid type 4.

found this on ebay. much cheaper than buying from thrust inovations. i just could not justify spending 60 plus shipping from thrust. it took me a bit to find the right size. thisis also the cheapest i found it at 36 bucks plus 6 for shipping.

i started my defoaming job. what a mess. hull weighed in at 149lbs before i started. after the foam was removed it was 104lbs without the tray.

i have a set of the slippery leg armor. they are nice and light but they have to go under a full suit otherwise they slide down your leg to your ankle.

im diggin what you got waternut. i wasn't to fond of in the pump area cuz i remember going through no wake zones on a couch the smoke just fallows the ski as a cloud it sucks.

its not so much the black goo as it is the acumulation of the black that is around the exhaust. i used to get a bit of black goo in the past with my dry pipe but the tuning was good. now i have a b-pipe and different carbs.

i noticed this was covered a little in darren's build thread but i was kinda lookin for mor info. first off i am in the middle of a defoam project and was thinking it would look nice and eliminate the black goo from getting on your pants when you are behind your ski. i was thinking maybe 4...

i pull my SJ with a beg box of gear with the Hyundai Tiburon in my avitar and its a smaller lighter car than that. i dont think it has a towing capacity. it goes just fine. Blaster800 on here tows one of his blasters with an older toyota camry i think.

dry pipes are ok for a while. but you will all ways want to have a b-pipe. easier ski maintinance and such. dry pipes are a decent starter. THIS DOES NOT NEED TO TURN INTO A PRO DRY PIPE, OR BASHING THE DRY PIPE THREAD. just tryin to give the new guy some info.

i actually contacted him about them. it is a custom made cable and he is getting it redesigned due to corosion issues. so i dont think he is selling them right now. i asked him about shipping and availability and that is all he said.

dont want to think about it. it makes me sick every time i see the bank statement. i like the coke idea, it must be cheaper.

never seen any in my motor. this is new to me.
