you can always use a ss coupler for threaded rod
edit: and then weld it for good measure
also check if the turn plate indeed hits the steering stop and doesn't just stop on the cable and kinks it
better response with type 4 dry pipe, tested back to back, stock to stock with removed baffle,
steve wait till you take a spin on martins (my old ski)

actually Darin the FSF this past saturday at ipperwash was a not a good turnout, about 20 skis after everyone bailed but apart from minor issues with my ski an almost perfect ride (did I mention it was flat), perfect to finish the season. couple of us were standing and talking in the moonlight...
what is the maximum amp draw (should be right on the starter if someone has one out of the boat)?

PS edit. Whats the guage of the wire going to the starter?
i didn't have too much time but I think it was just a loose ground connection but I haven't taken of the cover yet. DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT, IT WOULD HAVE HAPPENNED TO ME!!! ;)
my xmetal pole/bracket is installed with two bolt (same as on the xmetal's website). To install the spring do you need to replace with stock bolt?
