stainless steel is at ridiculous levels right now. We use it alot at the factory I work at and we just had a plant meeting reguarding the price (going to kill buisness). Although there is hope, sources are saying the price is going to fall out soon...just dont know exactly how soon
Ive got a 9-17 skat trak and was wondering what size prop would be best for rec riding on flat water with a Superjet SN? Ill be doing basic tricks and buzzing around... The engine will be:
62T/61X
Protec mach II or B pipe
35cc head
Boysen reeds
dual 38 carbs
stock porting
thanks
Ok I got it, it will work but it wouldnt be worth it for this engine. What do you guys recommend for a pipe then? Besides the B pipe, I know that one already:cool2:
All the bilge mod intailes is filling in that hole somehow? Is there anything else involved?
Another thing, since I'll be doing alot of glasswork and I havent done any before. Are there any good guides/how-to's for beganners? Also what types of glass / epoxy should I be using?
Thanks
Oh yeah I forgot to ask, does anyone have some good info on how to mod the older SJ pumps with that bilge hole? I heard a few people saying it could increase speeds of 2-3 mph!

Well I bought a PSI pipe for my 650 SJ... I was told its just like a Riva Dry pipe... I did measure the Pipe's manifold ports and they are 43mm wide and the 61x exhaust port is 47mm wide...
Would it be worth putting on my 62/61x 701 I am building or should I just toss it aside for something...
Im close to finishing my engine so it's just about time to start doing things to the hull I guess. One problem... I dont know ********! I have searched and info specific to SN's seems to be more scarce then RN's mod info. Would it be too much to ask for some help on what mods might I as...
wow! I would have never thought it could cause that much damage to a person. Im sorry for what happened, I wonder if there are special masks/filters for doing these types of projects?

edit- noticed everyone was talking about bigger engines ect... heh I didnt get the ski on the water and I already pulled the engine and about to drop a 62/61 701 engine w/ pipe head and dual...
