Hmm. Could you try putting a sort of rubber coupler slightly larger in diameter over it and secure it for now? Or go slightly smaller and slip a tube inside the old one?Otherwise you may have to cut and dremel it out then epoxy a new 1 in to do it right
Cant go wrong buying a trixstar directly from chad! Local support for a ski like that is extremely important in my opinion. As a fellow Canadian I think you're better off buying a ski built and designed by some one local who can help you if you have issues or even have him fully build it for...
The more I read the more I think the amount of work and time it would take to make this part makes 150 sound real fair for a bolt on perfectly fitting part vs hours of work for something that wont fit as nice as stock. hours of work to save maybe $100 sounds crazy to me but depends how you value...
Dangggg that's inssne work on both skis very nice. I'd gladly pay some one to turf my ski's but theres no one with alot of experience around here. Turfing my FS2 was a little nerve racking(maybe it was the fumes) I cant imagine doing those trays your 1st or 2nd turf job.
Ninja roll, no foot flip and right into that huge combo was insane. You're right his pump is loading in fractions of a section vs those other machines. Is an xfs pump tunnel much different than a bun hull? Is his pump tuned that much better? Just simply a more efficient pump setup? Combined with...
Cheaper and less work to just get another stock pole if you value your time. you'll have to modify or make another steer cable mount to make that work as well.
You're committed now! Did you chop that pole on the top vs on the bottom? Looks like you got rid of the hump and it looks much better than an SJ with a chopped old end and the goofy bend causing it to sit up. Keep it up!
I wasnt asking anyone to care how I spend my money, just speaking for canadians so they know these skis end up costing you alot more than you originally plan on spending. At the 12k usd sure it sounds like a great deal but 12k quickly becomes 20k here and it's no longer a good deal for canadians...
Not trying to argue or bum out anyone with a krash I'm talking about 27.5% in tariffs and taxes to bring a ski into canada plus the 30% dollar exchange and shipping on top of that makes it crazy expenses to buy a new krash ski in Canada. You're just simply better off buying a used ski of higher...
They come and go fast on kijiji and the Facebook groups. a like new 900 DASA edge just soldfor 18 cdn on kijiji. Id honestly still rather have a used 701 rickter/phantom/hurricane/tigercraft than a new 997 krash
Personally I bought a professionally built 2 year old like new rickter in Canada for less than a RTP unit would of cost me. It's just the fact that buying a new krash in Canada is not woth what it's going to cost you and you're better off spending less on an almost new lightly used AM ski within...
Fyi these skis cost almost 20k by the time they get to Canada. I'm absolutely shocked some one chose a krash over a rickter. I still do not trust a single part on these ski's. The quality control is too poor. Did anyone see the internals of that carb? Scary. You absolutely get what you pay for...
