X2 Tom is a great guy and several guys have loved his footholds I put in a buddy's ski! I have only tried blowsions in the past so I cant compare to many.

yes it will work fine, I dont really see a point in doing a layer of carbon

yes, will work fine 0/90 is better as it can be layed both ways so its nice for fast strong build ups for what your doing it really doesnt matter. just make sure you alternate your tow

style 1208 biax (0/90 with 3/4 chop) chop side faces down I would use epoxy when since its a secondary bond.
