So a buddy told me he was bringing his ski out yesterday to the beach.. had about an hours notice, so i rushed home, zapped it with a grinder to get the sharp edges down, put a foot strap in the front, grip taped the back, hooked a few things up and took it out!
Rode very well.. I am pleased...
Final layer on.. just have sanding to do on the tray and i should be done back there for now.
I found these clamps help keep the final cloth in place and keep it smooth.
thank you! I finished the first layer and then did the 2nd on the left rail... i had to book it to make it to my softball game so i didn't get as far as i had hoped today.. I think the wider tray will be much more cozy!

First thing i noticed is how narrow the tray seems when you're riding.. especially with...
wow cool thread man! i've read the whole thing and really enjoy the great ideas people have to help you... and the even better response to it by "this is how i'm doin' it!" and here's the pics! Excellent pole build you have! interested to see how it holds up. I think the ski overall...
Is that a ground wire just chillin' not connected to anything? (brown with yellow clamp) I'm sure you know it's disconnected? but i think it's part of the starting system.
