Wifey and I purchased a boat back in June and we are not really riding our skis anymore. We decided to sell them. I am selling my '93 B1. I purchased it about 5 years ago from an employee from Wamilton's. Pretty much fixed everything that was broke and she was recently rebuilt.
A compression...
I only loan to friends who have skis or people I know. I have no problem saying no to anyone else.
My close buddy loaned his couch to a friend of a friend when he first got it. The kid sunk it. Never paid for a thing. Ski has never been the same and it cost my buddy too much $$$ to get fixed...
Im gonna pull it off this weekend and clean it inside and out. I'm going to also clean up the bendix or replace it if there's any sticking. The motor is out and I'm replacing the starter anyway. I'd rather go through the effort now, then have to mess with it later.
Thanks for the help.
I attempted to ride my freshly painted 650sx onto the bunks and managed to fall off the trailer at the local ramp. I smashed the ski into the trailer fender and then I fell off between the trailer and the dock. Lotsa people laughing........ski was still running, and I was floundering around...
Yeah thanks I know no water is supposed to be in there. She fired right up and seems to run OK prior to me taking it apart. A new gasket and some sealer are ready for the reassembly. The question is am I good to simply wire brush off the rust or should I replace the flywheel?
That's an option, but is it necessary? Is this surface rust normal and I can just clean it best I can and be on my way or is this too bad to clean and I should fix or replace?
I had to remove the starter on my B1, so I figured I'd pull the flywheel cover off and check the bendix as well. When I pulled off the cover some rusty water came out (about an oz or so). Is the rust on the flywheel in the pics below something I should be concerned about or is this something I...
Looks good. Maybe I'll see you at Daytona this summer. Me and a few of the fellas are gonna pay for the permit to launch from the beach as opposed to Ponce Inlet this year. We got a few blasters and standups in our group.
post a pic of the shoe. Make sure you test fit it several times before making it permanent. You want to make sure the pump seals all the way round the face of the shoe. I used a flashlight up the tunnel to check for gaps. You also want the driveshaft coming through the hull as dead center of the...
I've got Hero 3 black edition. Is the remote that it came with water proof? I thought it wasn't. I also use the App on my Android phone and I agree, it is awesome. You can access all of the settings right through the app on the fly. Very cool feature, but running the wifi will kill my battery in...
