ok i was given some carbs and it looks like they were soaked in salt water or something, they are all nasty. how can i clean them all out. is there any cleaners i can soak them in then use compressed air to blow it all out. or what are some sugestions.
thanks
now thats what im talking about, go big or go home. :cheer:
you would probably have to learn how to ride the thing again.
now with a motor that wouldn't you have to change other things like the pump?
i was just sugesting it for those that are worried about them leaking and your ski sinking. they were only like $10 so it wouldn't cost that much to put another one on too while your there.
i have the homedepot one way too. i dont even notice if mine leaks or not. i have never had a problem with my ski filling up with water when i am sitting so i guess it is doing good. i might have to pull the hood one day and see if any comes in.
what about maybe running a dual scupper. either 2 homedepot scuppers or a homedepot and aftermarket one. the second one should eliminate any water the first one lets slide by.
i say screw the skills, with the motor you just hit it and hang on. it should fling that ski any which way you want to go.
i built a big motor for my quad and i am no pro at riding quads. i just get on and hit it. i will improve my skills as i go.
i was also wondering about this set up.
try looking at your water seperator, might sound crazy but i had the same sorta thing happening to me. my water sperator would be filling up like twice in an hour of riding. now i cracked open the screw in the bottom and haven't had a problem since.
its just an idea.
im not sure if i will get to this idea due to cost factor and tring to focus more on school and less on my toys. but i would deffently like to persue this idea because i think it would better the sport. just got to get some money and time for product development.
i guess now...
what the heck is my bulkhead?
come to think of it i think i still have the part that connects to the pump just not the strainer, and all that garbage the goes in the engine bay. i might have to dig that out and put it back on the ski.
:sneaky: :sneaky:
i might have to find someone with a stock bilge around me or try and purchase one to put on my ski. i have a boost gauge for a car that has vacumn preassure too. i think i can rig that up onto it and see.
thanks for your help, i got some designing to do. :cheer: :cheer:
