where's TC?
sell 70 more pole pads. :bigok:I like it- anyone have some convincing arguements on how a broke S.O.B. can explain to his wife that he needs a nairn? ( new and improved round nose) especially when he has too many skis already?
so it doesn't have a 760- that would have been sweet, but given the choice - I would prefer the hull mods over the motor mod. for most of you the 760 would still be inadequate- so shut it! :theyareontome:
as far as the front not being as wide as doing tubbies- wouldn't the narrowed rear make up for it? I bet if someone measure with tubbie II's and the 07 rear vs. the nairn it is the same of more on the nairn. and there is no way I would ever spend the money for a setback conversion so again bonus- trim in play- bonus. Its a freeride hull from the factory! could of used a little shorter pole but whatever. oh and footholds but I can see the legal disaster that would be.
I want one!!!!!
Haven't you been paying attention? :chairshot:
The intake gullet and pump has been moved back almost 2 inches. The only reason why the ride plate is sticking out is because Yamaha is too cheap to re-tool for a new plate (at least this pre-production version). I'm also really diggin' the deeper chines too. Flatwater (freestyle) guys are going to hate this hull.
An no, this isn't a "square nose ride plate." Even the other RN (up to 2007) have a 6 hole rideplate from factory (as pictured on this '08 model)...but on the prior RN they don't drill the middle holes. The 6 counter sunk area is still there.
When do the new Yamaha's generally come out?
doesnt look like anything to really get exited about to me......
Sounds like a good ski. Lightweight AND good Handling. I think I'll get a Carbon SXR hull from Trinity before this SJ.
what is the offical weight? sit says 291 someone said 305.
I'm trying to decide to keep an mod my sj, or sell for the new.
but good for starting the rotation on a flip earlier. :fing02:Less width will be less pop out of the water.....
