but he also said it stabbed much easier too... which leads me to believe that the rear was much easier to break loose and throw around.
Front sponsons, setback pump, trim friendly, shorter pole, still a 2 stroke, I think Yamaha might be listening.
I'm sure they would do more but the bean counters are always watching.
I think the RN-2.0 is a nice step forward so go out and buy them. That way I can get my hands on a nice used one next year.:cheer:
I'm more than curious how this ski handles. It has some shape which I think is good but think it's designed for straight line stabilty more like a big wave gun than a freestyle board.
I have talked to two guys who rip in the surf and both have rode it. They said it works insane. Some of us ride a ski set up for surf only. So I could see having to put sponsons on top of the stock ones. As far as the narrow tail and set back pump it will work killer! Instead of side slipping on the face of a wave it will be more positive.
I'm sticking to my old RN for now... however, I state again... anyone who wants a nice shiney new RN2.0 please go buy it and start putting your old RN's up for sale.
O.T. i may be in the market for a RN with no HIN's... so if anyone has one please let me know.:mischievous:
and not that I ever would, but HIN swaping won't be difficult b/c they look identical to the ORN

i know i was just stating what I posted earlier, nothing to do with your post.
Anybody know what sponsons are molded into the hull by chance(tubbies, r&d, etc...)?
