The outer shell could definitely stand to be more rugged. Seems somewhat cheap. I wrapped and packed mine in the battery box with turf so it can't move around. With an AGM battery my F1pro would almost roll all the way to it's side. Now it floats perfectly level. Hope it lasts a while.

i agree with you on that. i am just glad they replacd it and i didnt get stuck with a 200.00 paper weight.

Buddy of mine had his XFS out for the 3rd time.
1st Ride - maybe 10 minutes
2nd Ride - maybe 15 minutes
3rd Ride - I would say probably less than an hour total. Ballistic battery is toast. Just stopped working.

I've been using one of the two 16 cells for a couple of weeks, maybe 5-6 hours total. No problems yet.
I haven't even started using the second one yet.

I've been waiting to hear back about Ballistic's warranty change before buying one. Does anyone know if they changed their policy back to where they allowed replacement if it craps out due to running them on a total lost system?

Was this with TL? I have 4-5 hours on mine with atp epic.... works great

If the battery is sounding low STOP! or you will kill the cells. Yes these batterys are more fragilem then a standard battery, but if you take care of them they can be great little batterys. Don't use a regular charger, as it doesnt balance the cells

I didn't realize this was his first weekend running the battery. I thought you were just taking about this weekend, because thats what the battery would do if the cells were damaged

I cant figure out for the life of me why battery would go dead on a regular charger but is suppose to charge properly while the ski is running. i mean they dont make a convertr to hook a special charging adaptor up to my stator an then tothe battery.......does this mean that while i am riding the battery is being damaged because it isnt speading the load evenly among cells

i hope they hold true to that because i siliconed the cap onto the special charging adapter on the battry....but it seems tat a few people re having an issue with charging bateries
