Anyone try the PD-30 model that works on the yama 1100/1200 engines on a zxi 1100?
I hope you are getting commission! I made sure and tell them I wanted the "Wax" curve.I am talking with them now about getting it to run. It would require a reflash and they are working on the software. Its just a case of how long it will take
YepThis is the price list:
PDCIS-01T with GP760 con. 160,00
handheld programmer 49,00
PC-USB programmer 38,00
extension cable 3,50
TNT express (1kg)36,00
Total[EUR]=286,50
paypal fee11,99
Total to pay[EUR]=298,49
Can probably get away with just having the PDCIS-O1T unit if you are only going to run the pre loaded wax curve?
Except that trigger length is different in the sxr. I know i did this one time on a 8mm stroker yamaha ski. Using a programmable sxr ignition. Its a lot of workyou could always just use the 2004+ kawi sxr electric box with the yami 760 flywheel. they both use the same 2 wire trigger. I think its the 1995 kawi 750zxi that uses the same ignition too. I used to beat the magnets out of a 750 flywheel for my sxr non charging lightened setup
I think waxhead is referring to the length of the 'lump' on the flywheel so the static timing would be off, and possible additional issues with cranking timing if the kawi ignition is sophisticated enough to trigger off both ends of the lump. There is no easy way to adjust static timing with the Yamaha 760 cover/trigger arrangement.
I considered going down that route but the zeeltronic is so easy and so cheap for what you get, it's hard for me to go any other way.
I do wonder how long term they'll hold up, OEM reliability is nice, but so far so good.
Might as well just sell the msd stuff and get a legit jstl set upThis is awesome guys. Wow didnt know the PDCIS-01T box was that cheap
My buddy has a 15 hour MSD TL brain crap out, We will try and get that setup with a Zeeltronic box, either with MSD pickups - and if thats not possible, change to hall sensors.
Watch this space
