I am talking with them now about getting it to run. It would require a reflash and they are working on the software. Its just a case of how long it will take

Can probably get away with just having the PDCIS-O1T unit if you are only going to run the pre loaded wax curve?

Yep

you could always just use the 2004+ kawi sxr electric box with the yami 760 flywheel. they both use the same 2 wire trigger. I think its the 1995 kawi 750zxi that uses the same ignition too. I used to beat the magnets out of a 750 flywheel for my sxr non charging lightened setup

Except that trigger length is different in the sxr. I know i did this one time on a 8mm stroker yamaha ski. Using a programmable sxr ignition. Its a lot of work

I think waxhead is referring to the length of the 'lump' on the flywheel so the static timing would be off, and possible additional issues with cranking timing if the kawi ignition is sophisticated enough to trigger off both ends of the lump. There is no easy way to adjust static timing with the Yamaha 760 cover/trigger arrangement.

I considered going down that route but the zeeltronic is so easy and so cheap for what you get, it's hard for me to go any other way.

I do wonder how long term they'll hold up, OEM reliability is nice, but so far so good.

What curves are you running?

I'm running the default "Wax racing" curve.

Might venture off to try something different at some point but I have a lot of other details with the ski that need to be straightened out first.

This is awesome guys. Wow didnt know the PDCIS-01T box was that cheap :)
My buddy has a 15 hour MSD TL brain crap out, We will try and get that setup with a Zeeltronic box, either with MSD pickups - and if thats not possible, change to hall sensors.
