let me check the dates of the ride again, travel is hectic this year for me so i just have to make sure nothing overlaps...

but i did say i would drive 15 hours for neilcakes...and having them the night before we leave instead of as we are heading out is super pimp...good idea...

NOOOOOO...you can't do this to me.........NOOOOOOOOOO

So, do Bubba Burgers have your seal of approval? They were a staple in my household.

Bubba Burgers are the only Pre-fab burger that my family will eat..... Of course we make "from Scratch" burgers at ADB but I do prefer a Bubba!!! Actually Ronny turned me on to those!:veryhappy:

Aha! I knew I could lure you in! ha ha ha!

You make the trip and I'll cook them whenever you want! We can use pancakes as hamburger buns for all I care! :laugh2:

Serously... several people have said this is a better idea for dinner, SHOULD WE PLAN ON BREAKFAST FOR DINNER ON FRIDAY NITE???

triple secret probation
Neilcakes for dinner Friday

Burgers Saturday

sounds good to me

then steve had to throw the pig in the mix.

Steve - logistically, what is the pig going to require? Even for you just to get it here would be a pain. what about keeping it warm & serving it?

Moondance

Just plain me....
mmmm... piggie piggie.

Since I am not riding, I can definitely help with cooking lunch. If the dirty bird can bring the grill, I bet me, Peter, and Goddess could knock it out. Not that I would volunteer anyone. They just did such a good job last year.

And we gotta have cobbler. It just wouldn't be right without it. :woot:

Personally, I'm down for whatever. I'll just be happy to be at the beach with the bro's and ho's :poke:

that last one was just for Moonie..... kiss kiss
Timbo, I know I'm your favorite ho:wiggle:

u are making alot of assumptions there MISS! for one - depends what one is cooking and what goes into the pot!

hmmmmmmmmm - hello Moondance!! have you been taking that pink pill in the bottom of you bill bottles??? :pokey:

Now for peach/other cobbler I don't think theres a big issue!

hehe....your a man - that's all I need to know as fart, oops, as far as the one issue goes.

Now as far as dutch oven cobblers, any fruit flavor is my favorite with cherry being on the top!

back 2 the thread at hand

I can bring a roll of 55 gallon drum bags.. I drum as well if needed!
paper towels too!

How many roll packs?? say - 3 - 8 roll pacs?? or do u need more??

Excellent, 8 pack, I expect, should cover the weekend. I think Pengy has the drum, bags would be great.

if u need more dutch ovens - I have a few LODGE ovens

8 inch
2 - 10 inch
12 inch
and maybe a 14 inch!

is that enough for cobbler fixings??!!

:cussing::sasmokin: "what" no cobbler

Ah hah, another Dutch oven chef? I have a 10 and a 12 that will both be filled with cobbler. I was going to do a blueberry w/lemon in the larger and the apple w/spice cake went over very well last Sep. If you want to do a peach in either the 10 or 12, that should cover us very nicely! [I was worried about not having enough if we had lots of peeps line up.] I will be bringing my small table and a medium sized table. I can do my 2 ovens on my small table if I have to, but the medium table works better. This would give you space on the small table if you need.

I can run all three ovens if you need - are you the actual chef or the significant other volunteering the oven for use? Do you ride with all you need, or do you just want to bring the oven and let me rip with it? Tell me more, sandy!

Hey, peeps! What would you think of doing Neilcakes Sat pm and the burgers for lunch? My thoughts were that a lot of peeps won't be there until Sat (will miss out on anything Fri pm). Course, maybe Neil is thinkin' he won't have to slave for 2 hours over the griddle that way (can't says I blame him for that thought!).

Need some feedback here, please don't make me do another poll. Any thoughts, preferences, arrival times, etc?

There is some truth to that! ha ha!... like I said, the batter will be pre-made, so all i will have to do is pour & flip... pour & flip... etc.

Biggest problem with that is Sat. night is usually our "biggest" meal (turnout wise) and I'm not sure I can keep up - people would be standing and waiting for even longer that usual... and I could possibly run out of batter, leaving people hungry. Friday night and sunday morning usually bring a smaller crowd :fingersx:
