Everyone has seen this a hundred times, but here it is again.
Footholds are bonded with epoxy filler, and held in place with drywall screws. After the filler cures, the screws are removed, and two layers of biaxial twill are epoxied of the edges all the way around.

And now the part that made me very happy - the weigh in.
I didn't get a shot of the ski on the scale, but this IS the scale reading with the ski on it.

Flat black on the whole top.
We had a bit of trouble with the flattener, but finally got it figured out by the final coat.

why didn't you fill the bondline with epoxy and milled fibers? From my experiences, that is the area most likely to crack from rolling. The SMC in that area is very thin. Not sure about the cell foam doing the job there but you never know!
looking great, can't wait to see it in Daytona

It's a good thing I get all the way around.

We'll see how it holds up. Sergio said it should be fairly strong. I know from smackin' it with my fists that it is TOUGH!

Outside shots now.
The hood and nosepiece didn't flatten out the way they ski did, so I'll probably have to re-shoot those AFTER Daytona.
