waterdawg uses black cpvc and that far back it wont make a difference. and you also save weight that way.sweet build and i like the flat black look.:cool2: :arms: :arms:

And, I might have made some progress with a little scotch brite...(at least on the nosepiece).

Well, for now, I think I'll just hack mine of flush with the back.
I think the 'D' cut might be a bit much for a shoretened hull.
BUT, I've never been a big fan of the 'D' cuts - I prefer a stocker.

BTW, the back of your hull looks AWESOME!!!!

That is how Malone ski is set up..........just flush with the hull. A d-cut plate is overkill.

I got some more of my goodies from Patrick at X-metal yesterday...
The little hood pin modification is a sweet little touch.

I also hit the reinforcement with a little flat black to tie it in with the outside.
It looks a little more uniform than when it was translucent.

The motor mounts, strap clips, and midshaft housing are all mounted.

Nope.
I didn't want to scratch the paint :bs2:

It's 88 lbs +/- 2 lbs.
Heck, that bathroom scale could very well read even less after painting it.
