Glad they are starting to get back to you Nolan. I wonder how hard it would be to say "we leave the turf undone so when you receive it you are able to adjust to your foot sizes" when the hull is sent?

TL is great i wouldn't get rid of it, you just need someone who knows what their doing and not rushing install it. obviously if they don't put an intake grate on your ski you can't expect them to get the TL right.

EME's response is a joke IMO. They can sell 30k skis, an I'm willing to bet there personal ski's don't have these issues. You paid for a service, in which you didn't get, an now they're giving you the run around. I'd send it back an buy from a reputable seller who actually delivers what you pay for. I'd be irate to say the very least at the issues you've dealt with, an the lack of help from them. You shouldn't have to start threads on here to figure out your TL if it was supposed to be setup when you received it. 200% un-acceptable

There's always two sides, but from what I have read EME failed all the way around on it. I'm curious what their side is on it, but it sure pisses me off seeing a buyer in this situation. Still hoping to see EME come through in some way...

HOLY CRAP I have been saving for a flat water hull forever, now after reading this I'm scared Sh%&less! If I spent that much money on a hull and it has problems I would lose my mind! All the BS, and then have to tell my wife that I have spend more $ to make it work. That is not right at all.

Absolutely unacceptable. I have been reading alot about different a/m hulls, and I was really considering going with EME. My wife said once shes done with school and starts working, she'd buy me any a/m hull I wanted. After this, I must say EME is out of the question. I understand mistakes happen, and being self employed I know this first hand, but its how you handle it that sets you apart from the rest.

Well I've had 3 A/M hulls, I know others have had more. My experience for what its worth. Wamiltons- perfect finish, everything bolts in better than oem. Bullet Racing Gen1- perfect finish everything bolts in better than oem. BOB- I didnt build it but when I went to change a few things, battery box, ride plate, pump, and a few other things well not the same story. I dont hear any issues with Rickter or Trinity either. Dont be swayed from A/M hulls just try to figure out what you are really getting. I know I appreciate these candid reviews of these experiences. Others on here don't seem to feel the same way. This thread everyone was going after EME for problems. Chris Fiore's thread everyone was ripping Mark. I don't get it? I personally am looking to buy an EME but it will be built by someone other than I. Not trying to thread jack here and I hope the issues get resolved and dude gets a ripping boat.

The comments are a bit harsh. I can tell you from experience you'll have similar problems when buying a half million dollar boat. These are niche high performace handmade custom specialty boats. It is what it is, these aren't major mfg automobiles. They are sorting out the problems and handling it from what has been posted. That's really all you can ask for.

when you pay for something(top dollar), your not looking for excuses, your looking for perfection. As many hulls as they have built and sold you think it would be down to a science now. comments are not harsh its the truth. I mean serioulsy bro if you bought a 500,000 dollar boat off the showroom floor and it had issues ur only screwing yourself..... u shoulda said when this boat has zero issues i will buy it, lol its that simple. but to each his own i guess......

it basically comes down to X manufacturer doesnt have their poop straight and Y manufacturer does, simple as that.. People will gravitate to Y manufacturer..

if eme or others would do some in process qc a lot could be avoided.
take a look at what the auto ind has done for years.
but this would also only drive prices higher as it has with auto's

i design and build statistical process control fixtures, they are not cheap by any means but it allows them to mass manufacture parts within .5mm all day long

Large boats aren't on display at dealerships bud.. they're custom order in most cases which reinforces my point. If they are on display there's like less than five in the country at any point in time. Next time you purchase a yacht go ahead and tell me you don't have a punchlist. You WILL. Same with new homes, new construction etc. I didn't notice any excuses being made. I'm a perfectionist myself and there's some things you just learn to live with. Spend five minutes on any yachting forum if you don't believe me.
