JRE has them, just check EBAY - they look very nice and cost around 60 bucks.

MARK: do you think I can use this flat gas cap cover and still use my OEM tank? Do I need to plug it then, I guess?

nice looking ski, keep up the good work. Makes me want to work on adding my foot straps this week and touching up the bottom paint. But it is 10 degrees out.

Hey Mark!

You are so ahead of me :) I am still waiting for parts to arrive from US. On the good side: I taook the ski to bare hull, glass work to begin soon. I realized I will need more and more parts.... Did you consider the CATS yet??

Update 2/27/08

Pic 1
I'm going to Gel Coat the bottom of the hull white, thus i need to sand off all the old paint.
So with the rotisserie we got the ski upside down so i could start tube sanding the contours of the bottom to keep the shape and remove paint. (which takes a while and SUCKS)

Pic 2
The bottom before

Pic 3
the bottom after near the end of the day. I'm about 85 percent done with the tube sanding, I should finish tomorrow.

Pic 4
My birthday was Saturday so my mom got my X-treme ski toy that I stole from my little bro and made this cake for me.

Looking good man! Have fun in and around the pump cavity......just got done with mine the other day.

Thanks but I'm only going to gel coat the intake shoe of the pump cavity the actual area where the pump bolts in I'm just going to paint white so i don't have to hassle with all the extreme sanding in the little areas.

MArk: Hapyy B-day! So now you can legally get a gun, but still can't buy a bottle of beer - I love that :)

Anyways looking cool. Love the cake too. Got my parts from the US yesterday, engine work will commence very soon. In the meantime I am waiting for my paycheck to get more goodies :)

Update Tubbies and Paint! 1/4

Pic 1
Trued my hull by tube sanding all contours and blocked the belly of the ski to perfect the hull.
Pic 2-5
Foamed both Tubbies, measured and aligned tubbies to bolt and rivet into place with a mass of silicone on the backside of the tubbies. It was really hard, we really had to crank on the outside bolts to bend the tubbies flush against the contour of the hull.
