I should be epoxying/glassing the holds in tonight as long as it doesn't rain.

I was surprised the gap left from switching from the 24/7's isn't as big as I thought it would be. Piece of cake to cover!

Here is the best way to get to epoxy to cure:
1. buy alot of beer:beerchug:
2. set up chair next to ski
3 and then blow!
:haha:

I hope you get that deck back together soon. Do you poor the foam first then lay the tray on top after shaping or seal the tray on then poor foam in after? just curious. When I did mine I only did the foot holds and scupper tube. Ski has been dry though!! keeping my fingers crossed.

I laid up two 4"x10" pieces of glass, very thin, and I'm going to glue those on top of the plate tonight so tomorrow I can lay it in the hole and the thin stuff will hold it flush.

I have the footholds glued in with 3M, tomorrow after that's set I'll glass everything, once that's all cured, I'll foam, then glass over the pour holes, turf, ride. Wanna ride tomorrow?!?!?! lol

Yeah, I have quite a bit of 6" cloth 'tape', and my gap isn't as big as I was expecting so it will cover it pretty easily.

Finally.

I'm ready to foam tomorrow. I also finally bought some biaxial tape instead of my cheapo tape, man is that stuff easier to work with and stronger overall.

And before anyone asks, the red you see on those 2 pieces is my old West System resin---the hardener turned red over the years. It still hardens just fine, it's just blood red. The best part is when you mix up some paste with filler, it looks like coagulated blood!
