My HOA charges 225 a month. we have no pool, no playground, basketball courts.. no large dogs allowed. we are told every year prices going up due to "last years snow removal efforts.." what efforts we shovel our own snow?, maybe 3 times a year... I got a notice saying my bottom garage door panel paint was flaking..if it was not fixed within 60 days it was a $900 fine. on the contrary, my coworker has a HOA , his fees are 150 a month, They cut his grass, weed his lawn and he has 3 pools and a tennis court and dog park... I take care of my home and yard, much like the other bros on here showing off their yards and hard work.. its all a scam. I've been to the headquarters where these Nazi's convene.. parking lot full of higher tier foreign vehicles. inside the office its starbucks along with granite counter tops , flat screen tvs and leather office chairs. like a high end plastic surgeon's office. all these a-holes are on the payroll yet no one will make eye contact with you or ask you if you need assistance. then when you walk into a office.. they become very uncomfortable and on edge to see a blue collar individual who rushed over there to speak to someone before closing hours. They will back peddle and say so and so is not here that's who you'd want to ask and my favorite " Sir, we unfortunately don't handle any of that here.. you have to do it online.." -whys that? so you can avoid confrontation?
