Sounds like a good set up. Nicely done! After getting a RRP and having a PFP on my sons ski, that's how I'd run it.
Can you post up a picture of your pipe set up so I can understand it more since I currently dont own a pfp yet and am confused a bit . Thanks in advance

My home away from home.
I'll post some up when I get on the computer. I've got some now on my phone of the RRP, but I'd like to get some of a PFP too, so you can see the different water routing. But for the most part it's pretty straight forward when you see one. Pressure test the chamber to make sure it doesn't have any leaks. Cap off the outer jacket of the pipe. Drill and tap in a spray bar or something like it in the ex man (roughly same location as RRP spray bar). Keep the water running to the stinger in front of the water box. Adjust the jet in the stinger to keep the box hot like posted above. And a 70 jet is probably super close, because my son ran a 90 and it could still be dried out more when running the dry setup. So adding water from the spray bar should cool it down a tad more. We're going to set it up on the kids ski for sure. Never know til you try!

You guys are doing the water injection and also injecting water at the stinger? Have you tried just injecting at the spray bar? I'm just wondering because when I ran mine wet I only injected water at the spray bar, I'm just wondering if injecting at the stinger makes a difference?

Random question? Hoping someone can help.

Has anyone run a 11/17 large hub with a 964? I currently run a 14/19 large hub which is great. Just wondering if I will get more punch from the 11/17 or just cavitation? Appreciate the info ;)

That's smaller than anything we have ever tested. Our test engine was murdering a 13/18 large hub.

We had a good thread going with alot of details for just this from testing a dasa 950 and pfp injected bit smaller than your dasa..it unfortunately got craped in and shut down. After trying quite a few diff pressures and jets in spray bar and stinger and fcv settings. It turned out using a very small jet in bar kept front of pipe perfect temp to make more low end and mid power, the stinger runs hotter this way and requires a lil bit bigger jet and slightly softer spring setting on fcv to keep it cool and enough pressure to make great all around low to mid power. Be interesting to know how much more water would be required to do the same thing on a 1200?

On this TPE964, I'm using the method posted by (Limitedslip post #161) or the simplest way (pipe stays in ski). Using a #80 in the spray bar, and tightening the spring a bit on the FCV.

Extremely____noticeable_____low end response_____increase___! (fill in the blanks, but I didn't even say a bad word)

Thanks to MB for bringing this thread up!

So if you guys are injecting these to make them run as a wet pipe, what are you doing with the ignition curves ?

I run my PFP dry on my 1105 and it hits like a MOFO, but i drag the advance back significantly.

Whats the score once running the pipe wet ?

keith, pfp seems to work a lil better if you can get some timing down up top, doesnt seem to be crucial though, suppose some motors with lower port timing would differ a bit from what ive tried with 900cc and tl with alot advance. The 950 was running a msd enhancer on 180 comp and still hits super hard low and through mid.no det showing with current freeride use with very little retard timing. Its way more easy to make big power with the large pipes running dry with the 11 and 1200 cc setups on tl with gobs of initial advance, especially with oxy race fuel. Did you notice substantial better power with less timing up top than other curves you may have tried? May try a flame next on it with 14 deg final timing

henry..Try going as small as #40 and loosin the fcv a bit to compensate if you feel like tinkering with it. let us know if you give it a try

What's the opposite of "spinning" your prop called? chugging?, 'cause that's how it felt on my C75 16/20, before this mod was made. The dry 2 wet conversion cleaned that up, right where it counts.

Who carries #40? or #30 (since we're tinkering)

I just ordered some from JetManiac

964 ss
Boysen intake
46 carbs modified by xscream
MSD enhancer
B pipe with mod chamber bored to 50mm

Solas 144 stator. 14/19 c15 prop

125 low 1 turn out
135 high 1 1/8 turn out

Real close. Still fine tuning pipe.
Love it!
