What! What!
Did Jeff modify the way that fiberglass or plastic cover attaches to the pole? I know Superramjet's came off the first time he rode it. May not be an issue any more.

in this world of water craft upgrades I have learned every shop I have delt with does great work but has no idea what a watch/clock or calendar is.. this is just 5 different shops no where near each other that I have delt with this year...

shop #1 I waited 4-5 weeks for something that was to ship in that week..
shop #2 still waiting since jan. 2007
shop #3 still waiting for work done that was to be finished in 1 week from may 14th
shop #4 so far, 7 weeks and still nothing..
shop #5 says.. call me in 3 weeks and I should have a grip on it to let you know when it will be done !!

odd enough shop #1 is jeff !! the only shop to come through this year !!

got the pole yesterday :arms: All is well. Most solidly constructed pole out there by far. I read somewhere that the RRP was the "Ferrari" of the handlepoles................if that is true then this is the "Bentley" :smokin: Same price as a RRP w/ pad so it is really a matter of preference. I can see this being the last pole you will ever buy. I don't even see how you could bend, let alone break one of these. It's light also............about 10.5lbs and 3.5 of that is at the base. I got the carbon ski which is about a 1lb heavier than a pole w/ a prepreg skin.

If you have the means and like the looks I would have to say place a order. He has probably 10-20 unsold peices constructed, just needing skins. I hope to give more feedback on it once I ride the ski but thus far I am impressed.

Pole looks nice on your boat.... although the comparison of the cars is a little skewed  comparing a ferrari to a bentley one is built for speed and looks the other comfort and looks.....

but all in all glaf you got your pole.... i think it would bad badass if he could find a way to make the top transluscent so you could see the inside of the pole

You would then see wires and cables or a tube too though.

REALLY? I hope not, I am spending a shiot load of $$$$ on this pole, I have not seen quality issues from Jeff YET so I am giving him the bennifit of the doubt here. Regardless he will stand by it but I HATE DOWN TIME.

really ? not trying to be rude but river rats boat looks nice but not top quality for sure.never seen wcf or xft or wammer hull with 5200 smeared all over it,and not custom made as ordered.should you really have to do work to a new hull? the new pole looks ok the chin pad looks like a butterknife. hope you dont hit your head on the turn plate or bars.

in most cases yes

and most a/m turnplates "sit" just like Jeff's does......they're all teethbreakers

the xft lou got came ready to drop in motor as well as crammits. i think njfl wcf came ready as well. wasnt any wings to trim off as they were not ordered. you guys kill me defending jeff just because you orderd a hull or parts.. its ok his stuff is not top notch. hell the paint wasnt that great on hunters ski. i saw it in person .the daytona ski was thick so no one would break it. not the same case in hunters .i saw light through the ski at night time when he was showing to some people.looked like he had a lantern in it or something.

actually the daytona ski was very THIN..it was built as a flatwater hull........approx 85lb hull

I thought that was a surf hull? He raffeled it at a surf event, :splatt:

Jeff offers lots of upgraded materials, but most people on this site rather save a buck, then spend there hard earned $ on something that is built to last, and be ultra lightweight.... you get what you pay for any where you go...

The pole is a nice peice of work

When its built out of Polyester and Matt.... yes 85lbs probably would not last much longer then a oem Superjet... I would think? Thats about the same layup as a stock Rd nose upper...... If I were to spend the $$$ on a aftermarket hull I would spend the extra cash on good materials... wich Jeff does offer.
