Gonna disagree on that one Josh. Direct sales may not come from here. But where can you go to find out about Aftermarket Hulls, Motors, Pipes? Use to it was by Print Media. Splash, Watercraft World, Personal Watercraft Illistrated, Waterscooter (These just the US Based Mags). None of these exist anymore. All you have is Pro Rider now. Plus a few online media. Much of it does come thru message boards as far as getting info. Then you use "Google" to find out where to buy them........ or, Your buddy bought one and now you want one. Guess what, Your buddy most likely learned about it from here or on another site.

There are a lot of random people on facebook who find me that aren't on here and might one have like one mutual friend with me. Sometimes they don't even know a single person I do which sounds like they've been living under a pump somewhere in Idaho... Facebook is a powerful thing.

Bob is making a new Cylinder, If nobody knows about it Bob will never sell any. Bob has a customer who has used his Cylinders, He finds out about it. He goes to XYZ.com and post about it. People start asking. Next thing you know, Bob is selling Cylinders. Bob has not where to advertise but by word of mouth........ Word of Mouth these days is Social Media (Message Boards and Group Pages like Myspace, Tender, AIM)......... Same goes for Charlies company who has been around for years. They have a huge website, They post new products on there. Customers are going to check the site and see it. Some will talk about the cool new spark plug wrench they got from there and tell the world about it, post pics about it.............. These sites and pages does a lot more advertising than they realize.

You are incapable of understanding the point.
If you do what many people have done in this industry copy something that someone else designed you get the design money for marketing and to stock pile product. While the guy who built it spent all his money designing.
Is that Dummbed down enough for you to comprehend.

I don't know of anything you have built tuned or are associated with.
So I have to ask this. Your not a world known tuner, you have never built anything known engine wise, your not a self made millionaire.
What qualification do you have to be the Internet police and question anyone what they have built??
That's not intended to be a mean statement I just can't come up with one qualifying area that you are a seasoned or accomplished tuner or engine builder.
Yet you ask for data and continually police anyone that comes into this forum with something new.
Now don't try to say your just trying to see if the product is another mouse trap. Because that's virtually impossible on the Internet.
Then I have one more big to squash with you.
I have no groupies or cronies. TPE only offiliation with TNT is he is a dealer of our product, he spends time learning our product so he can get best results for his products.
I have complemented Eric on his 964 that I had here at my shop as it's the only stock stroke engine I have ever worked with that was impressive, and I personally like it better then the dasa 1000 in basic stock production products.
I spend time at events with all the people I work with to better understand them and that helps me in ways to best serve there product needs.
I don't do the yuppie groupies. Thing. I don't have a click crowd note do I look down on people just because I can.
So don't ever use the word cronies with me again. It just proves your 100 inaccurate to who I am and the way I go about my life and business.
I always pride myself in being approachable and helpful, specially those who use our products and engines.
We have over 100 world records that we supplied the power to but you won't find our name on it anywhere, because I don't need the world to know to stroke my ego. I got paid to be there and that's all the compliment my ego needs.

bk,no one wants to admit how important this site is to marketing a new product,its not surprising they would make those statements. All the mags are gone,social media with FB and forums is it for small market sports/hobbies. No one really uses the other pwc site much anyway. Facebook is great for business and updates and used right in the market its free. 40k advertising a ski product would be waste of resource.
I and some others here just asked you a few questions about your pipe,you choose to come play in the dyno thread that some one else started and get all emotional when anyone says anything that doesnt work out well for you.Its much more easy to be professional and follow up accordingly than twist it and make it what u want. When police ask you question you have to answer,here you dont,unless its smart too.... I may ask questions...your idea of "second guess" another twist up. but i dont knock products. With exception of Atp ignitions,in interest of saving a few guys the trauma me and my buds endured with them..You never said what "our" motor packages are in your prev posts? Who are all the copies your talking about? Chronies are easy to spot,small group of people that support and likey likey anything you say or promote,who almost always are clueless of the actual situation/performance.Its never the pros you sponsor,they are way more product diversified..hmmm Just paying attention at large rides as well. Doesnt really matter to me though,again no pony in the show.

Tnt don't get too wound up, he has no horse, just the boots, ......and the maybe the hat! Did Mb answer your questions clear enough, we'll no he didn't answer any did he, although you always diligently tried to answer his constant questioning. This is a great site for exposure, but for marketing I wouldn't bet my future on it. where else can you post up your new product just to be asked by someone that has done practically zero research (internet research don't count!)"why didn't you use this stamp, or billet that instead of cast?' all out in the open for every customer to see! That is a big negative to marketing if you ask me, I own my own business too but I wont tell anyone here what I do, who knows who will scrutinize me!

To ask a question you just have to be polite and respectful and most will answer.
But for you master B. You don't ask a question. You ask question after question and you reply to a question with another question.
You resolve to another question. And you take answers and regurgitate it and or portray it as knowledge of your own.
Here why I don't like you.
You make accusations, you send pm's to pretend your someone your not and then as soon as you think you have dirt or anything that can make you look good and them look bad you post it all over the X and beyond.

How would you know what works and doesn't work in marketing a product for watercraft.
Unless your a silent partner in a company that no one knows about or you have no first hand exp with marketing a product.
So how can you make the comment you just made.
I will comment as I have paid to support the X last year.
There are a lot of readers who never post. Ever.
I have been shocked at how many actually. They all say the same thing. They don't like to post because there to many keyboard Cowboys that rip on them for no just cause so they silently read in the back ground.
I have had well over 50 people tell me that. That's bothersome that people can't freely ask questions on a site that has so much potential.
There has been a few people I have met now that said they got info on our pipe from here.
But Facebook has stretched way past the X.
But I see the X growing and someday people will learn to ask quality question and be able to get a solid answer. But if you do or not agree with there answer isn't your place to badger them in a public forum. Unless there dishonest and you can prove it in a court of law, then you could come up with a politically correct way to say your full of crap!!
There have been many ask me questions both public and private.
And in the last week I have gotten 30 plus messages from Facebook,X, and text messages saying. Don't let master baiter get under your skin. He has no clew.
Not one of which is in your category of a chronie.
This was my answer to them.
I'm done with you, your a coward and a fake.
So I am gonna chase you around on all your post's and expose your lack of knowledge and BS as often as possible.
Do everything I can to make your life on the X half as miserable as the many you have so feverishly bashed battered and nagged.
Or flat out steered wrong for your own personal reasons.
There one thing you need to know.
Just because I wasn't making watercraft parts for 18yrs doesn't mean I wasn't somewhat connected to the sport and working with select few.
So I have been involved in this sport since 1987.
I know a lot of people and there plenty who don't like my forward ways but you never have to wonder where you stand with me because I will just flat tell you straight to your face I don't need a keyboard to grow a spine.
See torr I have had my fame, and it was way over rated, I don't need the Internet to tell me I'm great or to make me feel important.
I can just sit back in my shop stair up at the walls and vast in memory lane of all I have accomplished in Motorsports.
The difference between me and you is, I use my hands to make parts, build product, design new things and I actually offer them to people for there own enjoyment.
And the 120 plus world, national and speed records says I'm pretty good. That's my glory right there. having people like what I do is fun.
But people come and go year to year, but the facts on the wall stay for ever!!
