I don't mind $1 a month at all but I actually use some of the adds. There is adds for shops and items that I didn't know about so it's all good.
Maybe fewer adds. I am a member of several paid sites that have adds but they are not very intrusive.
A members only forum is a good idea for paying members.

Don't need any gold stars or pats on my back. Hell, you can even leave the adds visible. It's all good.
Keep the for sale section free for all (except for DIK DIGGER no matter what name he returns under) so any and all can list their goods.
I spend way more every month on cable and a home phone that I never use so this a no brainer.

Honestly man...the way things are going in the world...just re direct to a pay page every January 1st and when the screen pops up and says YOU PAY NOW OR GET LOST people will pay. Be blatant and blunt and just do it. We will pay. I would pay. The info, pics, VIDS!!! are priceless in my opinion. So 10 a year to keep her running and advance her in to the FULGAZ she wants to be is a no brainer. You could always cut the 10 a year if and when you could.

i think its a good idea... but like most say, unless the members are getting something " extra" there not going to pay " why pay for the cow when you get the milk for free?" along those lines.... alot of other forums offer nice features for paying members.... like image hosting, emails, section for members , raffles, ect
and i agree with above ^^^^ you will reduce the amount of people coming here ..... since 99% of forums are free.

Where the heck did you pull those numbers out of lmao. If greenhulk was worth near a million it would have been sold a long time ago.
As for paying, set it up, I'm sure enough people would pay to make it work out. I like the idea of having tag showing that your a paying member.
