You should see what the squish measurement is currently before considering this. You could also find a thinner gasket to increase compression without the mill work, and it's reversible if you don't like it. You can measure squish by inserting a piece of solder which is .01 over the stock...

Looking at my JS440, previous owner installed a quick connect flush connector, but I am not sure it's in the right place. Does this look right? Line goes from the pipe closest to exhaust, splits, one side to pisser, the other side towards head. Flush connects between head and pipe on this...
