No They were made by my buddy and I(the one that owns the orange one). The white one is basically identical to the goose/team bill, I havent had any issues with it I have it tightened pretty snug it will stay at a 45 degree angle no problem and no wobble my end caps are thick. The orange one is...
I think the ski still handles really well. The sliding if any is really controllable and predictable. BUT along with removing the sponsons I also trimmed the back lip off. Dont know if that makes it slide that much more but the people that hop on it love the way it handles.
Some guys do it on the fx http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/68554
I have it on my sn 701. I extended it 5.5", enlarged the exit on the cone to 2.25", hogged out the head pipe to 47mm to match the coffman's/fp manifold, and dried out the pipe, I love it.
I used to have the sx and went to the pro I love the pro and I pushed the motor back so I could use a 650sx driveshaft ;-) So no nose heavy problems on my end.
Well today in the surf I sort of lost the nose of my ski. I've been thinking of fixing it but Waternut's hull is available and I'd love to take it off his hands. So if anyone is making the trip soon or anything please let me know! Of course I will reimburse you for your time and gas. If you live...
Has anyone enlarged the exit cone's diameter to the same as a B-Pipe? If so notice a difference? Also do some of you think you could fit it if you welded it all together as one piece with the extensions?
I'm on the look out for an exhaust manifold and I plan to do the above, but I have a SN so...
If you want to ride mine to get an idea of what a modded 750 is like before you start modding yours, shoot me a PM I ride all over Orlando and wouldnt mind the wake from your buddy's boat wake.
Si. That is the first ski I ever owned. I forget everything I did, but a bunch of little bolt on stuff nothing major. The biggest "mod" was boring out the exhaust manifold, drying out the pipe, and extending it. Which from what I remember really gave it a little more grunt.
If the initials match my screename than yea lol, he actually bought another ski from me just recently I wonder who he'll pass it too next he was a real nice guy.
Had a similar issue with a 750 I was working on, ended up being a sheared key like zigler said. After that happened I used some valve lapping compound on the crank snout and used the flywheel to seat it so it will prevent this in the future.
But I also had this issue with a 650 I used to have...
