1211 is the bomb. I personally like 1211 the best...It has more elasticity than most and will flex with a component if necessary. (head gasket, etc). It also cleans up in 30 seconds with a wire brush. http://www.watcon.com/Catalog_Pages/Liquid_Gasket.htm

Crank seals The crank seals fall out usually for (2) reasons.. You put the rear one in backwards.. OR most likely they are aftermarket crank seals, and although they look the same they arent an exact copy. The Yamaha crankcases have a slight taper, and this somehow matches the OEM seals...
