Back then they used a dry pipe like yours instead of the 'b' pipe, but they included a different ride plate as well. Yours looks stock.

Nice. My friend used to have a '91 (I think) with the white plastics and baby blue/pink seat, I loved that thing. KDX 200/220s are one of my all-time favorite bikes, excellent for beginners but still fun for fast guys, and they respond well to aftermarket exhaust/suspension.

When people say straight bar they're usually referring to a straight piece of tube, and the 0 degree ones have the 'v' in the middle like your stock bars.

Drive slower (55-60 tops) if you want better mileage.

The gel coat on SXRs is uber-thick which is why I assume they crack like that.

All the 701 pipes I've used work fine on a 650 motor as well so if you don't feel like doing a motor swap this summer you could install a pipe that you can use when you put in a bigger motor. I don't see what's wrong with the current paint, it's pretty bitchin.

I'm pretty sure they're the same as the 750s and SXRs, so you'd need the thick adapter bushings or a few washers and an aftermarket steering that will work for Kawi side steering
