    The riser bar thread

My friend has these on his dirt bike, they are the shizz, they virtually eliminate arm pump! They couldn't hurt on hard landings either. http://www.fasstco.com/moto/flexx Too rich for my blood though.

LOL.:ugh2: IIRC that head gasket worked for a bit.

Damn! That's pretty ghetto. I wonder who's redneck enough to try that.

    The riser bar thread

Thanks. I figure it can't be any more difficult to board than my old 650 after I built that stainless pole for it.

I ghetto rigged this today to see if a rise is for me. It's about a 1.75" rise.

    Other Buyer's rant!!

Must be that way for car and motorcycle businesses too. The incompetence of the people I've been dealing with lately really makes me wonder how they have jobs with all the options employers have.

    Other Buyer's rant!!

Well, these definitely don't come in threes, I just got #4 (in a row) today. 1.Timing set that ends up being out of a different year than listed for a bike I'm putting together that I already have way too much into. 2. Lug nuts that are advertised as 14X2.0 come and end up being 14X1.5. 3...

    650/X-2 1987 650SX - Not pissing good - Help

+1 on the head gasket, I had a ski with the same symptoms, it still had fairly even compression and ran pretty good, even in salt water.

Super Jet pipe for a 1995 SN 701

Yes, which is almost half what his $1500 ski is worth.

    Footholds vs Footstraps?

I like the wider stance having cut out footholds gives you. That said my current ski will most likely end up with a strap and a front foothold fire extinguisher tube, mainly because I don't want to go through the work of installing holds.

Super Jet superjet keeps hopping on its own..

What he said^ When I was first starting I'd have to stand at the front of the tray and hump the pole to stop porpoising, now I hang off the back squatted down when I have it wide open.

complete list of pipes for the superjet

I rode a stock RN with a Riva wet pipe a while back, the one that looks like a mini dry pipe. If I didn't know any better I would have thought it was a Riva Red pipe, which is a good thing. Also, my current 650 SN has a Coffman's wet pipe (sizzler) and it rips (for a 650) throughout the...

Other Best investments for your ski or riding?

For the ski: shortened RN pole and home made short turn plate/straight bars/re-mounting the pivot on the nozzle inboard for the ski for total of less than $50. For gear I'd say my side entry life jacket, I hate the buckles on the front of my old life jackets.

I think I'd swap out the pole, pump, hull and everything else while you're at it.

25 gallons of gas so far in the SJ. I don't enjoy riding most flat water anymore, and I rode my snowmobile through the end of May.
