Heres what I would have done if I had to do it all over again. TEAM SCREAM all the way. No excuses, bs or stories. If you want to get out on the water and just ride a rediculously powerful ski get a team scream motor and do what chucky says for all other parts and you wont be tuning all the...
ok, so i am having a terrible time getting my ski tuned in. anyone have a big bore 800 fully ported? I am running stock 140mm pump. My motor spins the stock prop like crazy. Have a C75 15/20 swirl with 18 for root pitch. It was actually 17/21 from skat. at the time it was pitched to big very...
Hydroman and I were just discussing his piston wash last night. There is a great thread on piston wash some where on the x. Clean piston top was rich from unburned fuel being sent out the exhuast and black/brown out to the edges was lean. Ideally you want a silver dollar sized black mark in the...
and dont forget that when you finally buy a prop it probably wont be the exact pitch it says. I got a C75 Skat 15/20 swirl and it was actually 17.5/21. Root pitch is a big determining factor aswell. Trial and error is the way to go. Doesn't hurt to collect as much data as possible. But remember...
the 750 hadnles terrible compared to say the sxr. I would just get rid of the 750 hull or leave it as is. Its not worth the time, money or effort to change a 750.
actually you remove that sensor when using an aftermarket pipe. Just unplug it from the box. It is removable. Cap off the top of the stock pipe if your using the stock pipe. Water route sounds good. I might put a restrictor on the over board pisser if running single cooling. You are actually...
I am running an msd water injection unit along with the FCV. There are many ECWI outthere. I would recommend getting a fully adjustable one so that you can set it up for the style of riding that you do. The msd is nice comes with the disc and cable to customize the water turning on and off and...
DJ, whats up with the noodle on the pole? I thought that was you out there from the picture mail xenon sent me but the blue pole (couldnt make out it was a noodle)confused me. Thanx again for letting me ride your trinity, that is one bad#ss ride you have.
crank rebuild will run $300-350
Cylinder bore per hole $40 -50
Used cases run about $100-150 for a matched pair. They must be the matching set.
New piston set will run $150-200
Brain, depending on the sponsors. I just saw the thread for the many sponsors of the event. If they are donating funds or gear you may want to add their names to the shirt as a bit of cross promotion. JM2C
Shirts look great
All you need is the through hull bearing carrier. It is suppossed to be one peice. Somebody may have used a thin peice of sheet metal to bandaid the situation. I had one on my 750 crack. Every time i accelerated the hull would fill with water. Get new bearings, new seals and the through hull peice.
I use the Rend ridlplate and removed the fins. Extended ride plates work great on the 750's. Will help keep the nose down. Short plates suck. Just make sure that it is smooth and does not have fins. You can still break the back end out easily for tricks as long as the plate has no ridges / fins...
First thing is to have your cylinders measured in their current state. Then go to the next size up. 750 cylinders are 80.00mm stock and can go 82.00mm with no problem and no crank case modification. You can go up 83.00mm max but will require some crank case modification. The cylinder walls are...
