As Matt said, great pipe, lord mounts are EOL for some of these pipes - that said you get regular anti vibration mounts and sheet Ali on eBay to fabricate when you need.

Does anyone know the thread spec (thread pitch and length) of the SJ case bolts tht hold the cylinders to the cases please? I would like to order some replacement Allen key types. Thanks, Jim

Just had a thought... If I flip the bottom coil over it should slot into the gap from the other coil?

Some additional pics... See how the coil is too high? How they are mounted - there are only 3x coil mounting holes not 4x!

Nice idea, but the mounting lugs are threaded to take the bolts so I can't do that?

Matt, Yes it's the mounting height of the coil that's in question - when I say 'ferrules' I'm talking about Ali spacers (basically a little bit of Ali tubing that the bolt goes through to act as a spacer)

Has anyone built one up yet? Mine has arrived, despite the price tag it has zero instructions on where the ferrules go and how to mount up the parts. Here's how far I've got so far, problem is the lower coil sits to high to fit the lid because one coil base sits on top of the other...

What's the view on the XFS and KDX - how do they handle back to back? I've got an XFS now and love it, is the KDX much different to ride? Assume it's lighter weight but how does it compare on handling etc? Thanks for sharing your views..

Simple way to remove it: Attach garden hose to one outlet (manifold end) Turn hose in full Shake pipe around vigorously whilst running hose Sand will leave via the two outlets carried by the water.. Next time gaffer tape up your water inlets before blasting! Jim

What's the PFP manifold from originally? Is it a SJ Factory dry pipe manifold?

Oh forgot to mention, each side of the bag is made up of heavy duty straps, then rips stop nylon outer, then 5mm Neoprene and then Silver ripstop nylon inner. Top is the same.

Your right kny he did, Mormaii made them IIRC - I hired one off Lee Stone for a week back then (2005) - they were ok, not as well made/padded as these. No idea what they cost, I just hired one for a week. Thanks for the feedback

Can you pressure test the jacket (with pipe in situ) rather than removing and test chamber? Seems like an easier option?
