There was some talk of a man made reef in my town but it was just a fleeting idea. The cost is huge and not many surfers have that kind of coin laying around.
I migrated away from standard paddle surfing after I had open heart surgery which left big scars down my chest and drainage tube scars...

Yeah no bashing metal in jetski vids. Who wants mellow hippie music while running an exhaust belching 2 stroke jetski making crazy horsepower.
The backpack mount is really a good idea.
The counter weight I think needs to be pretty heavy. Actually I think it should be a little more heavy. It needs to dampen out the movement and also make sure the camera moves when it needs to. It's on a back pack and only weighs a couple pounds. You don't notice it there.
Does anyone have...
Hahahha I thought that was NASA spaceship grade stainless steel for the counter weight....looks like good 'ol Harbor Freight struck again. I might be able to get some stainless from my brother. Do you remember what the threads are? Not even out of the water and it was rusted.
Yes this...
I use Auto-Air paint and 2 part urethane clear coat. So far I have Auto-Air sealer dark as a base over the whole ski, then white (mixed with silver), over the white is Hot Rod Sparkle white which is a transparent paint. For the back of the ski I used sparklescent blizzard blue. For the...
Pull everything out and reinforce on the inside. Flip over and fill gap with epoxy.
Where are you located? There is probably someone nearby who could help or take a look at it with you to see what needs to be done.
I rode the sofa one time. If the wind is calmer maybe a Port ride tomorrow?? My ski is not "dead" its just taken 100% apart for paint. It takes me awhile to get fully inspired. But once inspired I can paint quick. I was going to spray main colors today but I think it is to windy and may end...
Yes "regulations" is probably the wrong word. It's flying over highways, houses, windfarms etc that is the main problem as I see it. I get bad feelings when I see aerial vids overflying major public property.
Here is the current simple voluntary rule for model flying...
Very cool video. Please have a look at: http://www.faa.gov/about/initiatives/uas/reg/ There is quite a few FAA rules not followed in the video and could get you in trouble if the right people see it.
Also, might want to take a look through here to get answers on FAA questions and use of...
The A-10 doesn't float us slightly bigger gunned heavy guys worth a dang. I tried my friends and I was like oh crap I gotta tread water otherwise only my helmet would keep me afloat. But I sink like a rock even in salt water. If your smaller and or float well the A-10 is a cool looking vest.
